Blenders and slowjuicers have been popular for years with people looking for serious health gains or their preservation, a juicy story.
Why are we turning to juicers?
It is difficult for many people to consume enough fruit and vegetables every day. And enough is a lot more than the Health Council of the Netherlands advises. By consuming fruit and vegetables in juice form you get lots of nutrients in a very small volume inside, ideal! There are also more and more people who know the usefulness and results of eating raw fruit and vegetables. A blender or slowjuicer gives all those people an enormous amount of extra possibilities for sufficient consumption and especially for experimenting with different taste combinations. In addition, additional juice cures are a wonderful detoxification instrument for recovering health and vitality. After all, such a machine offers an informal, playful way to, for example, introduce children to the power and taste of healthy, nourishing food. Juice is food and drink!
Juice is not just any drink, it is food and drink in the best form that can be absorbed. It is a complete and versatile food that transfers its resources directly to our body cells. Because there is no heating, the food enzymes required for digestion and conversion to energy remain intact. Separating the fibres (intestinal breasts) from the nutrients ensures a fast, direct release of nutrients and a considerable relief of the intestines. That’s why ‘juicing’ has so many valuable applications in natural medicine, but also as perfect food for babies and the elderly. You don’t buy juice in a package, you make it yourself and you drink it in the form of hawkers. Natural pure juice is raw, nourishing, healing, cleansing and vitalising, living food at http://juicerbase.com .
You prefer not to drink a juice quickly, take as much time as the entire food product would take.
Take small sips, enjoy to the fullest!
Always use a juice separately, never as part of a meal.
Always use a juice on an empty stomach. So drink your juice or smoothie at least 30 minutes before a meal, or at least 2 hours after a meal.
Drink as much juice as you feel comfortable with, listen to your body! Limit fruit juices to 100ml at a time.
Dilute fruit and vegetable juices with water in case of serious complaints, build it up gently.
Use each juice within 15 minutes of its production. Oxidation will quickly reduce the nutritional value.
Use a fruit juice or a vegetable juice, preferably not both at the same time or mixed together.
Besides juicing or blending, continue to eat fruit and vegetables as a whole, which remains important, as does chewing.
Be careful not to use overripe products.
With a blender, the food products are cut into the whole, there is no separation, the whole plant or fruit is retained, if desired even including peel. With a good blender, with the right knife, a lot of power and a high speed, a total juice is made, in which precisely the food products are microscopically finely cut so that an open cell structure is created. As a result, biological absorption will increase considerably. This is particularly important for people who are seriously ill. The better the blender, the more even the result and the more it can process. Think of smoothies, (warm) raw soups, heavy butters, batter, sauces, syrups, ice cream, fine flour, et cetera. No blender is suitable for the processing of tough grasses.
The seriously ill, especially the older ones, like to use a blender because they can also use the daily medication and dietary supplements and simply drink everything up at once instead of taking all kinds of pills and tablets separately for a quarter of an hour.
If you are just starting to juice, it may be wise to start with a slowjuicer. The juice in it contains virtually no fibres and is therefore more easily tolerated by a digestive system that has been acidified for years and therefore functions far from optimally. You can also sieve the blender product through a cheese cloth or special filter bag, which takes some extra effort.
Juices or blends?
In order to be able to make a well-considered choice, you want to know what the really important differences are. Very consciously it has been clearly arranged.
Sap centrifuges and slowjuicers are machines that separate juice from fruit and vegetables from the fibres. A slowjuicer does this at a low speed, which results in grinding, pressing or chewing.
